Resilience
I have created this resilience website to assist people of all ages in coping with their adversities and helping them overcome their problems. In this website I have described the competencies required for resilience, talked about overcoming adversities, demonstrated the ABC model, and shown a real life scenario in which the ABC model is used.
In particular I have decided to focus on people of a young high school age.This website will aim to teach them how to overcome adversities and challenges that they face during their school life. They will be able to refer to this website and be informed of resilience skills that are valuable throughout their life.
My character strengths that I have used to create this website include perseverance, zest, creativity and self regulation. I have used perseverance (strength #7) to keep going and working on this website even when I found it challenging. I used zest (strength #8) as I approached this assignment with excitement as I have never used this form of presenting it before. I used creativity (strength #13) to help create this website and the movies that help support my words. I have used self regulation (strength #15) to help myself prioritise my needs and continue working on this assignment although I wanted to do other things.
