The ABC model demonstrates the connections between adversities, beliefs and consequences. This model is used to help overcome adversities and help find the problem that is causing negative beliefs.
The ABC Model consists of the following aspects:

B - Beliefs
C - Competencies
An adversity is a problem situation that occurs in your life, no matter how big or small.
A belief is the thoughts that you think after the adversity has occurred.
Consequences are the actions or emotions you take in reaction to your beliefs.
